Individual Counselling

Individual counselling can be for age 5+ and is focused on the presenting concerns expressed by the client or the guardians. For young children, parent involvement is critical and often only a few sessions with the child are required and additional supports teaching and supporting the parents is key for success. For all minors under the age of 17 years, a parent only meeting before meeting with the minor is required. This allows any opportunity to discuss in detail the concerns, history, and offer immediate supports to the parents.

Individual counselling can focus on specific areas of challenges and concern. Our team of higher educated and specialized therapists come prepared to support you with your concerns and through various approaches to help you identify the best treatment approach for you. If you are interested in working on the concerns you face and are unsure which therapist is the best fit. Please contact our clinic for a chat with our primary psychologist to help pair therapist fit or create an online booking account and message the therapist of interest directly to ask question or to request a 15-minute phone consultation without charge.
